Essential storage and preferences

Clerk uses cookies and related storage to support sign-in and account security. We also store your selected theme and your cookie choice on this browser. These support features you request and remain available when you reject optional analytics.

Your cookie choice is saved in local storage under fdm-cookie-choice-v1, and your theme preference uses theme. These entries have no automatic expiry in the app and remain until changed or cleared. Authentication storage has lifetimes managed by Clerk; see Clerk’s Privacy Policy.

Saved favorites are linked to your account in our database. They are not stored as analytics cookies, and clearing browser storage does not delete them.

Optional analytics

If you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Vercel Web Analytics to understand page visits and interactions. Google Analytics can use cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies, but we still include it in your optional analytics choice.

These tools stay off before you choose and when you reject optional analytics. Closing the cookie panel without accepting does not enable analytics. If your browser cannot save your choice, analytics stays off for that visit.

Rejecting after accepting stops future measurement and removes accessible Google analytics cookies on this site. The page reloads to unload the analytics tools. Changing your choice does not erase information already sent to a provider. Cookie expiry and analytics data retention are separate and depend on the provider and service configuration.

Daily quote notifications

OneSignal loads independently of your analytics choice to support notification prompts and subscriptions. It uses browser storage and a service worker to manage push subscriptions and deliver daily quotes. Its subscription records and storage follow OneSignal’s lifecycle and your browser’s controls.

Notification permission is separate from analytics consent: accepting analytics does not subscribe you, and rejecting analytics does not turn off an existing notification subscription. Notifications require your browser or device permission and are available only where supported.

When you visit while signed in, we link this browser to your account using a separate notification identifier. Subscribed, linked accounts can receive a quote from their own favorites at 18:00 Europe/Madrid each day, or a reminder to add favorites. Signing out unlinks this browser from the account; it does not cancel an existing general quote subscription.

Change your choice

Open Cookies in the desktop footer or mobile bottom bar, or use the button below. Your choice applies to this browser; make a separate choice on other browsers and devices. You can also delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Clearing essential storage may sign you out or reset preferences. To stop notifications, also review your browser’s site permissions.
