Essential storage and preferences
Clerk uses storage to support sign-in and account security. We also store your selected theme and your cookie choice on this browser. These support features you request and remain available when you reject optional analytics.
Your cookie choice is saved in local storage under fdm-cookie-choice-v1 until you change it or clear site data. Theme and other local preferences can also remain until you clear them. Authentication storage has lifetimes managed by Clerk.
Optional analytics
If you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Vercel Web Analytics to understand page visits and interactions. Google Analytics can use cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies, but we still include it in your optional analytics choice.
These tools stay off before you choose and when you reject optional analytics. Rejecting after accepting stops future measurement and removes accessible Google analytics cookies on this site. The page reloads to unload the analytics tools. Changing your choice does not erase information already sent to a provider.

Daily quote notifications
OneSignal uses browser storage and a service worker to manage push subscriptions and deliver daily quotes. Notification permission is separate from analytics consent: accepting analytics does not subscribe you, and rejecting analytics does not turn off notifications.
You can manage notifications using the site’s notification bell or your browser’s site permissions. See OneSignal’s Privacy Policy for its data practices.
Change your choice
Open Cookies in the footer at any time. Your choice applies to this browser; make a separate choice on other browsers and devices. You can also delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Clearing essential storage may sign you out or reset preferences.
